Electronic torque wrenches EDK-1 Series
The wrenches are designed for high accuracy torquing of critical threaded joints.
The operation is based on measuring deformation of a resilient element by means of an RF200 Series displacement transducer.
As threaded joint is tightened, the torque is imparted through the wrench body to the resilient element which carries a square end head. Torsion strain of the resilient element is converted to linear displacement of the measuring raster of an optical transducer whose output signals are processed by a microprocessor module.
The wrench has four control buttons and a numeric display, where the torque current value on the wrench is continuously shown.
Minimum and maximum allowable preset torque values are programmable and stored in the wrench memory even at de-energization. Data accumulation with subsequent transmission to PC is possible.
Attainment of preset tightening torque values can be visually observed on the numeric display and, also, from light and sound alarm signals.
